Nike SB Civilist x Dunk Low Pro SB QS ‘Thermography’ is one of those rare trainers that still feels like a proper moment in modern sneaker culture. Built for skateboarding but collected like a grail, this unisex Dunk Low takes the familiar SB silhouette and flips it into something genuinely experimental—perfect for streetwear heads who want their rotation to do more than just match a fit.

At first glance it’s understated and stealthy, but the whole point is the surprise: this is the Nike SB Dunk Low that changes right in front of you. If you’re into OG Nike SB energy, collabs with real credibility, and pairs that start conversations, this one’s hard to beat.

Created with Berlin-based skateshop and brand Civilist, the ‘Thermography’ release marked their second Dunk collaboration after the 2013 Dunk High. The upper appears entirely black in normal conditions, keeping the look clean and wearable, but it’s made with a heat-sensitive material that reacts to higher temperatures. Hit it with warmth and it blooms into a thermographic spectrum—blue, red, green, and yellow tones ripple across the surface like a heat-map graphic.

That contrast is what makes the design special: you get a low-key Nike SB Dunk for everyday streetwear, with a hidden colour story that nods to science, city nights, and Civilist’s forward-thinking approach to skate style. Released in August 2020, it quickly became one of the most talked-about Nike SB drops of the year.

On foot, the Dunk Low Pro SB build is made to handle real wear: supportive, padded where it counts, and shaped for boardfeel without feeling flimsy. Whether you’re skating, collecting, or just running your daily rotation, it brings comfort and durability with that unmistakable Dunk profile.
