Please Note: QA on these was not ideal and they have been appearing with scuff marks on the heels. The Nike SB Dunk Low Civilist is proof that Nike SB did not play it safe in 2020. This release marked the second time The Swoosh had collaborated with Berlin-based skateshop and brand, Civilist, as the two previously worked on a Dunk High back in 2013. The Nike SB Dunk Low Civilist packs a huge surprise into a low-cut silhouette. The sneaker features, what at first looks like, an entirely black upper. But when the sneaker is hit by any high temperature source, it morphs into a cornucopia of colour. Shades of blue, red, green and yellow appear on the heat sensitive upper material, adding more layers than expected. The Nike SB Dunk Low Civilist dropped in August of 2020.
