adidas SL 72 OG Silver Metallic Black Gum Women is a proper throwback runner turned modern streetwear staple—built for sneakerheads who want vintage adidas energy with a sharper, more elevated finish. If you’re into low-profile trainers that sit clean with socks, cargos, wide-leg denim or tailored trousers, this pair brings that archive look without feeling costume-y.

What makes it stand out is the mix of retro track heritage and a statement-ready sheen. The Silver Metallic Black Gum look keeps it bold but wearable, giving you that “found a grail in perfect condition” vibe straight out of the box.

start with the SL 72’s classic silhouette—streamlined, lightweight, and unmistakably adidas. The upper leans into a metallic finish for that flash under streetlights, balanced by darker hits for contrast and a gum outsole that anchors the whole colourway with an old-school terrace feel. It’s a nod to adidas’ 70s running era, when performance design was all about speed, simplicity, and sharp lines—exactly the details that have made the SL 72 a favourite in today’s trainers rotation.

Branding stays clean and heritage-led, keeping the focus on shape and materials rather than overbuilt tech. It’s the kind of pair that works whether you’re deep in archive runners or just starting to build a serious streetwear footwear line-up.

: the low-cut profile keeps the look sleek, while the lightweight build makes these easy for daily wear. The grippy gum sole is made for city miles, and the supportive feel suits everything from commuting to weekend link-ups—ideal when you want comfort without sacrificing that retro adidas runner aesthetic.
