OGKICKS recently linked up with The Basement - the UK’s largest streetwear community - to take over Patterns for the first-ever Basement on the Beach.
The event was a sell-out success and tickets were quickly gobbled up by hordes of Brighton’s streetwear fans. The ad on TikTok by Ed and Shammy was a great success too, as they attempted to take on the English Channel in an inflatable dingy! Watch how they got on here.
The OGKICKS and Basement family turned out in full force for a night of DJs, streetwear celebration, and a few too many drinks. Performances included some of Brighton and London’s hottest DJs with names the likes of Sam Sheppa, Changing Currents, El Londo, CVSS, and F.O.T.U.
Highlights of the night’s music came from Namani, who busted through the roof with his track ‘Complacent’, and Reeko, whose hit single ‘Good Dreams’ sent the room buzzing.
After all was said, done, and danced, the feedback we received was incredible with multiple guests telling us it was the best night of their lives.
Once the smoke had settled, Ryan, founder of OGKICKS, reiterated what the event meant to him: “OGKICKS isn’t just a trainer shop, we’re a community… and we know how to throw a good party!”
