OG Kicks, Brighton’s No. 1 Streetwear Store, hosted an extra special Easter Egg Hunt on 16th April.
Starting at 11am outside the Bond Street shop, several hundred sneaker and streetwear enthusiasts gathered to join the hunt. And at intervals throughout the day, clues for the location of the eggs were announced on @ogkicksbrighton.
A total of seven eggs were hidden all around the city, containing fabulous prizes from pairs of trainers and store credit to a The North Face jacket. The first person to find each egg claimed the prize instore. Locations included the seafront, Queen’s Park and Pavilion Gardens.
Participants really enjoyed the day, and even some parents of younger hunters sent messages of appreciation. One comment received said, “What a great idea today with the hunt – my boy came on his own, knew no one and is living his best life! Found himself a little crew and is wearing himself out double guessing where the next one is – what a brilliant idea.”
Owner, Ryan Jackson, said, “Events like these, with the chance to win sought-after kicks such as Jordan 4s and Nike Dunks whilst having fun, is something we really enjoy offering our customers. We’re building a friendly sneakerhead community here in Brighton and look forward to hosting more events like this in the future.”
